Supporting NHS managers
As the trade union for NHS managers and senior leaders, we understand how crucial our members’ role is in the delivery and operation of healthcare services. The NHS as one of the world’s largest and most complex employers requires skilled managers to ensure it operates smoothly, effectively and safely.
NHS managers want the same things as the public – waiting lists to come down, service access to improve and services to be delivered safely. Our members are experts in finding solutions and delivering change, always striving to raise the standards of care for patients and improve working environments for staff. Despite this, managers are often too quickly blamed when things go wrong and used as easy scapegoats for politicians trying to save face, or the media trying to create an easy headline.
We will always champion your work and support you when you need it. Whether its another last-minute reorganisation, pay and pensions, or an issue at work, MiP is proud to represent NHS managers.
